One&Only Reethi Rah has announced British singer-songwriter Jessie J as the headline performer for its New Year’s Eve celebrations on 31 December 2026.
The exclusive performance, reserved for resort guests, will form the centrepiece of the private island’s festive programme as it welcomes 2027. The announcement continues One&Only Reethi Rah’s tradition of bringing internationally recognised artists to the Maldives for its year-end celebrations, following Nicole Scherzinger’s appearance for New Year’s Eve 2025/2026.
Jessie J to Headline New Year’s Eve at One&Only Reethi Rah
The resort’s New Year’s Eve Gala on 31 December 2026 will begin with a beachside cocktail reception before moving into an evening of dining, live entertainment and celebrations.
Jessie J will headline the night as 2026 draws to a close, with a catalogue that includes internationally recognised tracks such as Price Tag, Domino and Bang Bang. The British artist is known for combining pop, soul and R&B influences and has built a career spanning music and television, including appearances as a coach on The Voice UK, The Voice Australia and The Voice Kids UK.
Her performance will be exclusive to guests staying at One&Only Reethi Rah.
Time as One: Festive Season 2026/2027
Jessie J’s performance forms part of One&Only Reethi Rah’s wider 2026/2027 festive season, presented under the theme “Time as One.”
The programme begins on 20 December 2026 with the resort’s traditional Tree Lighting Ceremony & Cocktail. Across Christmas and New Year, the calendar will bring together family experiences, festive dining, wellness and activities on land and in the surrounding Indian Ocean.
The New Year’s Eve Gala is one of the key dates of the season, with One&Only’s current booking terms confirming a dedicated gala dinner on 31 December, followed by New Year’s Brunch on 1 January 2027. Orthodox Christmas celebrations are also scheduled for 6 and 7 January.
A Musical Start to 2027 in the Maldives
The Jessie J announcement adds a major live entertainment element to one of the Maldives’ busiest travel periods. For guests choosing One&Only Reethi Rah for Christmas and New Year, the performance offers an experience available only to those staying on the island.
The resort has established a strong tradition of high-profile New Year’s Eve entertainment, with Nicole Scherzinger headlining the previous celebration to welcome 2026.
