This festive season, The Nautilus Maldives invites guests to experience Christmas and New Year without a fixed itinerary through Bohemian Odyssey, a free-spirited festive journey shaped around discovery, flavour, creativity and connection.
Set within the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the programme reflects The Nautilus’ signature philosophy of unscripted island living, allowing each day to unfold at the guest’s own rhythm. From celebrations beneath the stars and intimate culinary encounters to restorative wellness rituals and adventures across the Indian Ocean, the festive season is designed around the freedom to follow the moment.

Christmas and New Year Beneath the Stars
Christmas Eve begins barefoot on Thyme Beach with The Luminous Eve Feast, combining live cooking, festive favourites, indulgent desserts and music beside the ocean. The programme also introduces The Artisan Shore, bringing together island artistry, craftsmanship and music in a relaxed celebration of the resort’s bohemian spirit.
For New Year’s Eve, Epicurean Voyage: Bohemian Ball will carry celebrations from Naiboli Deck to Thyme Beach, culminating in a midnight welcome beneath the Maldivian sky.
Rather than following a conventional festive schedule, the celebrations are designed to leave room for spontaneity.
A Festive Journey Through Flavour
Food becomes another part of the journey, led by Executive Chef Kengo Tomita and The Nautilus culinary team. Intimate Chef’s Tables will explore different culinary traditions, moving between Mediterranean flavours, Japanese finesse and the fragrant spices of the Maldives.
Throughout the season, guests can also discover a hidden elixir bar and enjoy truffle, toro, caviar and festive cocktails, with experiences designed to be enjoyed according to individual preference rather than a rigid schedule.

Wellness, Ocean Adventures and Young Explorers
At Solasta Spa, the festive programme moves into a quieter rhythm with personalised sleep rituals, meditation, crystal singing bowls and moonlit sound healing. As 2026 comes to an end, a symbolic fire ritual offers a moment for reflection, gratitude and intentions for the year ahead.
Beyond the island, guests can explore the natural world of Baa Atoll, including underwater experiences and coral planting that contributes to reef restoration. The Celestial Hour offers another perspective after sunset, taking guests onto the water for an intimate starlit cruise accompanied by champagne and artisanal canapés.
Younger guests have their own programme of creative workshops, dolphin voyages, handmade gifts and festive surprises. Christmas Eve includes outdoor cinema and play beneath the stars, while New Year’s Eve brings music and celebration as the final sunset of 2026 disappears across the Indian Ocean.
