With the introduction of a new seaplane service from the 01st of October 2023, guests will be able to enjoy a scenic flight and marvel at the incredible views of the Maldives unfold below, as they whisk down to Laamu Atoll.
The iconic experience starts from Velana International Airport in Malé, where guests will be met by one of Six Senses representatives and escorted to the seaplane terminal for their onward departure.
Whilst they await their connecting seaplane flight, they will be able to relax in the comfortable Sea Senses lounge where they can access all facilities, complimentary refreshments and wi-fi services.
The seaplane transfer will not only ensure a more enjoyable flight, but also a smoother, faster and higher quality arrival and departure experience, as the flight will take just over an hour to arrive to the shores of Six Senses Laamu.
Operating as private charters the seaplane transfers are direct, and for the resort’s guests only. For even more exclusivity, guests can also request to privatize the seaplane just for them.
