MONDO

Adjacent to the pool, at the heart of the resort, MONDO serves the best of many worlds. Chefs cook up all sorts of fabulous dishes from around the globe: French, Indian, Mauritius, Italian, and Asian cuisines.

The dining style is interactive with chefs at live cooking stations and the variety is dizzying. There’s even a pizza counter and a buffet designed specially for our Little Travellers.

BEACH ROUGE

At Beach Rouge, it’s all about the Mediterranean. Equal parts beach club and restaurant, it evolves and metamorphoses throughout the day. Lunches are long and lazy. There’s a seafood counter and a market-style meat one.

Take a seat under the canopy or right on the beach. When the sun dips below the horizon, the entire Beach Rouge is lit up in an electrifying red tint, to which it owes its name.

AMARI BY VINEET

Amari by Vineet is a contemporary Indian gem, where the pinkish, earthy interiors evoke India’s fantastical color palette. Cool and contemporary murals, ornaments, and clay lamps are a feast for the senses.

The heady cuisine, a modern interpretation of India’s rich heritage is signed Vineet Bhatia, the nation’s first Michelin-starred chef.

DUCK LAUNDRY

Duck Laundry is the moody Chinese gastronomic restaurant where you go for comforting family-style dishes and chef-driven tasting menus. Duck, one of the main features, is served in true Peking duck style.

The menu incorporates some of the most-loved Sichuanese, Shanghainese and Cantonese dishes.

MAISON LUX*

The chicest café in town draws its soul from the typical Milanese cafés that line the cobbled streets of the Italian capital. It’s a place where one finds respite, inspiration, and fuel in the form of a perfect shot of espresso. Although coffee is served from dawn to dusk, Maison LUX* is attuned to the hour of the day.

Come nightfall, the barista is replaced with the bartender. Located in the lobby, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a long flight, refuel before heading out to explore for the day, and grab a last LUX* coffee to go before you leave.

THE MIXOLOGIST

With views of both the lagoon and the pool, The Mixologist is the dream holiday bar. No trip to Mauritius is complete without sipping cocktails (or delicious mocktails) there. It’s the perfect spot for a mid-afternoon pick me up or aperitivo before dinner. The skilled mixologists have crafted an inventive cocktail list. The menu also offers mocktails, wines and craft beers.

APERITIVO BAR

Located right next to the main pool, at the entrance of MONDO, the creative Aperitivo Bar serves healthy elixirs to the early risers before shifting its ambiance to a vibrant upscale bar serving spritzes. Bubble, sweet and bitter is how we love our Aperol Spritz. The team has devised some creative ways to drink it. Enjoy before heading to dinner.

ICI

Innovation meets craftsmanship at ICI ice cream bar, where the behind-the-scenes of ice cream making is brought to the front. The result is freshly churned gelato, ice cream, sorbet, and granita–right in front of your eyes. Work in small batches of creative flavors, which change daily. Love a topping? There’s quite the selection so you can turn your ice cream into a sundae.

LUX* ME SPA

The foundations of LUX* ME Spa are the five elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space. The spa menu includes a range of signature and fully customizable treatments based on the health questionnaire filled out by the guest.

The spa is designed to make guests feel grounded and centered (earth), mentally clear (air), openhearted (water), creative (fire) and uplifted (space).

FITNESS CENTRE

Just because you’re on holiday, doesn’t mean you can’t keep fit and revitalised. At the fitness centre, the workouts are mindful and kinetic. You’ll find assisted stretching, cardio, aerial fitness, functional and suspension training.

Equipped with the latest cardio, functional, weight training equipment, and a fitness terrace for personal training and group classes.

YOGA

Yoga means union, the perfect harmony between the mind, body, human, and nature, and is an integral component of LUX* Me. Experience the serenity of a yoga session in a group or private.
